Halloween Day

Early Saturday morning Luke and his best buds went trick-or-treating around town! We had 2 Optimus Primes and Superman! They were so cute.........I mean tough!

Little Yoda, Brody, came too!

Main Street! It was happening!

The scariest witch I've ever seen! It took a lot of convincing to the boys that she was a nice witch! She made our whole Halloween and Luke hasn't stopped talking about her since! To him, he got all of his Halloween candy from her!

After trick-or-treating we went and had ice hot chocolates and a pumpkin muffin! The boys sat and chatted it up!

Later that night we went to our Halloween ward party! The picture below is Luke fishing for some candy!

He wanted to see if Frankenstein was real!

Brad passing out candy!

Trunk or treating!

At the Halloween party I kept getting asked if I was a nurse! I guess my costume didn't really look like Leia's! Next year I hope to get the size right!!

Carving Pumpkins

We drove up to our local pumpkin patch last Monday to pick out some pumpkins. Sadly it was closed. Luke was so bummed. We ended up going to Walmart's pumpkin patch and had just as much fun!

Halloween Party

Halloween Party 2009

Thanks Lindz for sending us Nick's sweet turtle outfit! He was adorable and since he isn't crawling he loved the extra back support!

The Lambert's were in town so Luke (AKA Optimus Prime) and cousin Jack (AKA Bumble Bee) went with us to the party.

The Family!

Donut on a string. Brad made us proud and came in second place! The guy on the left of him won first place and I've never seen a donut eaten so fast!

Adorable!

"Alien Fingers!"

Indiana Jones!

Tourists!

The cutest old farts I've ever seen!

Showing a little leg!

The Flintstones

A storm trooper! We felt right at home!

Candy Bars!
Hilarious! I'm definitely not a fan of nuts when it comes to candy bars!!

Pinata Time!

The amazing hostess of the night! Thanks Lisa! We had so much fun!

Bobbing for apples. Jackson did not hesitate!

Brad got one too using the sucking technique!

Some of you may notice that my wig is only covering half of my head. I was in Target in the adult section when I saw my costume. The picture on the costume was an adult and it read size medium 8-10 so I brought it home. While I was getting ready I realized the dress came to my knees, the sleeves were a little past my elbows and the wig only covered half of my head. Something was not quite right because I looked nothing like the girl in the picture. I re read the costume size and saw the size medium 8-10 and then in small print it reads, "for children 5-7 years old." Oh well! It covered all the necessary areas!

I stemmed it!

It was a really fun night and we loved having Jack, Jack with us!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Today Luke's preschool class went on their first field trip to a pumpkin patch! Luke was so excited. They told the kids that they could pick their own pumpkin off of the vine. The only rule was that they had to be able to carry it themselves!
Starting the search for the perfect pumpkin! Not this one....too heavy!

Luke and Colton! Not sure of which to choose!!! There were so many!!!!
Picking it off the vine......checking the weight!
Hooray! He finally found it! This pumpkin was perfect!

Walking through the corn maze!

Going through the "tunnel!"

Sweetness!

Having snack time in the Maze! They were anti bacing!

Luke's preschool class!

The scary pumpkin man!

The scary scarecrow woman!

Love these boys!

We made it!!! Two toddlers, a baby and a new born!

Randoms of the month!

Luke listening intently at his last soccer practice on the rules of the game!

He would just run in the direction the other kids were going in. He wasn't for sure what he was supposed to do, but ran with it!!

Making spiders........a Brenchley family tradition. Thanks mom for hanging up our ugly looking spiders each year on the chandelier! Luke loved crinkling the spider's legs which was just balling up the paper in his hands. He certainly liked using the stapler!

Luke loves the eyes, can you tell?! He wanted it to look like the guy on Monsters vs Alien. I think his name is Galaxar?!

We got this Optimus costume a while ago...afraid it was going to sell out fast. It was a mistake because Luke has wanted to wear it every day! I hope it makes it to Halloween!

Play dates with our friend TJ! I am definitely the bad guy because I get shot all day long from these transformers!

Play date with Josh! They love jumping with those balls and luckily no one has broken an ankle!

Even Cole got a play date with his buddy Cade!

Unlike the last messy post, this one was intentional! Cole had oatmeal for the first time and I thought I would let him explore! My dad would die if he saw me letting Cole do this in person! He's learning texures dad and how to use a spoon!

BLURB - How I love you!

I just wanted to share my first blog book!!! My friend does one for her family each year and I love love love that idea! Sorry for the horrible photos! The website is www.blurb.com if you're interested!
